We at Baila Canarias are happy to announce our new Beginners – Open Level level Salsa Course. You don’t need to have a partner or previous experience in dancing. Our classes are fun and energetic. This is the best you can do after a long day. We are going to fill you with positive energy in our lovely colorful social group.
Classes are from 8:00 pm to 9:30 pm at Turbo Rehab in Puerto Santiago – 2×45 minutes – Our experienced instructors will lead you through all the first steps, the basics of Cuban Salsa – Casino Cubano. We are going to learn how to communicate with your partner – how to listen the music – how to use your body parts with control and freely – how to work together with other couples in the form of Rueda or Circle – finding new friends and discovering a whole new world.

Course details
A weekly progressive course designed to teach you the fundamentals of dancing Salsa Cubana/Rueda de Casino.
You will learn:
- Musicality and rhythm
- Basic steps and turns
- Dance floor etiquette
- Basic salsa figures
- Body movement and isolation
- Connection in leading and following
- Chest and Hip movement
- Leading techniques
- Basic improvisation skills
- How to enjoy the music and interpret it to your partner and your body

Course duration and price
The course is four weeks long, starting on the 10th of April and finishing on the 1st of May, taking place every Wednesday from 8:00 to 9:45 pm. The total cost is 40€/person for the whole course. You can join the course anytime, if you cannot commit to the whole length of the course please get in touch with us and we will find a way.
